Goodbye Grandma Christine

Today we said goodbye to a much loved mother in law and Grandma Christine in a moving service to say thank you for her life. Gone way too soon, we will all miss her love, kindness and generosity terribly.

It was a hard day in parts but Tim's Dad and brother gave great tributes they did so well. T's playing was much appreciated by everyone too and allowed for some rousing singing. I think we all did her proud and brought back so many good memories. Rosie helped everyone with her beautiful smiles and baby talking and luckily C has had a ball at his friend's sleepover which helped us to know he was safe & happy.

I'm so glad to have known Christine and for her to have known her grandchildren, they love her and she was so very fiercely proud of them. Back home safely again tonight after the long journey home, now we need to be there for each other and carry on loving each other just as she would have wanted.

Rest in peace - always in our hearts. Xxx
