Paperweight

This paperweight sits on the storage unit in the spare bedroom - I'd forgotten how nice it is. Flowers suspended in some sort of synthetic resin, I think, with swirls of green and black. It reminds me of my late dad, to whom I gave it as a birthday present when I was a teenager, many moons ago!

Raining at lunchtime, so it was 20 minutes (about 2km) on the treadmill. This evening, the remnants of Barney, the storm that's been causing havoc in the south, seems to be passing over us - it's very wild and windy. Hope it dies down before tomorrow...
