Me and Rhona B....

What a day. Wet and windy. First job was to help wee brother bring in a cow that had decided to calve in the highest, wettest and coldest corner of the field.
Next job was to bring in the cow that was down with milk fever yesterday and her calf.
Eventually made it into Ingliston for the Agriscot event. this is like a 1 day mini Highland Show. It used to be a mainly Dairy event, but there are now a full range of trade stands along side a great show of cattle.
Bumped into our friend Rhona B on the Davidson and Robertson Rural stand. She was keen to appear in a Blip, but only if I did a selfie (and plugged DRR !) (I am the old and grey one on the right)
Saw a lot of folk, drank too much coffee and did a bit of business too.
The extra photo shows Basil Lowman doing his talk on how modern technology has a place in beef farming, with computers making all the decisions ! Sounded no bother in theory !
Met Mrs F and kids in town for tea on the way home.
