Convenient

A long meeting today. 10 until about 3.

I've had worse.

The Blip is the venue in Newcastle. As the name suggests, it's at the railway station. Useful when people are coming from all over the country.

It's not much of a place. I don't stay there after a bad experience earlier this year.

The train home was delayed by 1 hour 40 minutes. A tree had fallen on the power line further south. There seems to be another storm out there.

Actually, I was lucky. Because it was a ramshackle old diesel train, it could be diverted around the damaged electricity line.
