Baby Bouquetin (Capra Ibex) backlit.
Brilliant walk up the Dent d'Oche just over the border in France. The mountain looks over lake Geneva and is one of several spectacular but easy rocky peaks to climb near here. Early start, 5.30am but worth it. Having climbed it on 2 previous occasions, I knew this was bouquetin country but we were almost off the ridge and hadn't seen any when suddenly, in the shade, there was a mum and two very different young ones. This young female moved up onto the ridge and said, "Please take my picture". I took lots of course!
