Phnom Penh days

Back in my old haunts it's very tempting to look at life in Phnom Penh with rose-tinted spectacles, as I left on a real high. Work had often been difficult until that point though, dealing with government apathy and stark challenges in capacity.

I am reminded of some of those differences back here now, yet am having the same fantastic experiences with old friends.

Who knows whether in the future I'll want to give it another shot here. There is always a yoyoing of emotions when you live somewhere like Cambodia yet the stimulation and learning opportunities are unparalleled. It's easy to miss the chaos.
