Woe is me!

This is a small bronze I bought while on a short break to York many years ago.

When I see something I like in a shop, but can't really justify buying, I hum and haw, often resist, then regret, go back and find that the item is no longer available/has been sold. This particularly applies to clothes-buying. This may sound familiar to some people.

However, with this piece, I fell in love with it immediately, bought it there and then, and have never regretted it. Although the pose maybe hints at despair, - hence the title - not a mood I often am prone to, unless it's about the weather, I love the lines and the feel of the piece in my hands.
