Majestic Mt Aspiring Valley

North-west of Wanaka ,the gravel road wends its way up the beautiful Mt Aspiring Valley, past Treble Cone where hang gliders ride the thermals , hovering over mountain waterfalls ,through Spring green pasture ,grazing sheep and cattle , taking the vehicle 40 kms ,fording several mountain streams, till reaching the end of the road where the fit and hardy depart for their mountain walks and climbing. A cloudless day in Middle Earth!
