A Rough Morning

Our little man (grandson), for the second time, had to have a tube put into his ear. Plus, this time, the surgeon decided to remove his adenoids.

After his last operation and his struggle to come out of anesthesia, my daughter and wife thought that I should go...just to assist.

I guess he was a lot better this time, but he did succeed in ripping the med line off of his finger, pushing all of us away, and making a mess of the freeze pop that they gave him. On the way home, he kept muttering and whining 2 questions. 1. "How come the medicine they gave me keeps wanting to close my eyes?" 2. "How about that candy you promised me?"

Never much fun to see those that you love in any kind of struggle...whether big or small. But, his mama called a little while ago, and it seems like he is already back to his rambunctious self.
