Walking to work

today we had a 'retreat' day.

No work but a two hour meeting followed by lunch which happened to be at a hotel within walking distance for me.

On the way there I had to stop to allow the horses to cross then had the pleasure of watching them walk round 'Severals' ground.

One of the extra is a fellow 'pedestrian' walking towards me on the pavement as I neared the hotel.
The other is the petit fours served at the end of the lunch.
