A really important event in the history of SF as it demonstrated to the world that it had rebuilt itself after the earthquake and fires of 1906.
A stop for tea in the Japanese Tea Gardens, a walk through the park to the ocean, Beach Chalet facing Ocean Beach, beer sampling (I favoured Riptide, a red ale), back into the city for sushi and a catch-up with L (who visited me in London recently).
