Ponies

A real treat this morning to see these two showy Welsh (I think) dams with their beautiful foals at foot.
I have seen the ponies used as a pair to pull a gig around the local lanes. When I stopped by the hedge to take a photo, the mares ushered their foals away and the group cantered across the field before deciding I wasn't too much of a threat after all. They just looked superb!
