Amongst the finds . . .

I'm a bit of a collector of bits and pieces that I find on walks; shells, stones, bones, pottery, a lot of them end up on the windowsill in the lean to.  Putting on my boots today I spotted an Angle Shades moth amongst the finds.  An attractive moth, and nicely camouflaged. 

There was another on the window sill itself, so that's in the extras as a close up so you can see the colours and patterns on it.  

Their Latin name is Phlogophora meticulosa, for those of you who like to know these things . . .
