A fine old lady now retired from her life as a Tank Engine.

She was the only thing of interest which came my way in a day of rain and Motorways.

The journey to John Lewis was however a success in that it resulted in the purchase of a new TV to replace the ageing model which is to go to the Charity shop.

I can recommend visiting JL at 9.00 a.m. On a weekday. No crowds, no hassle and lots of help and attention from knowledgeable partners.
