Canary Wharf at night

Apologies for being quiet for a few days, I had a technological meltdown at the weekend which took hours to address and between that and work and packing for our London trip, blip has rather taken a back seat.  

So here we are in London, largely to see some of the tennis at the O2, the Masters series finals which is such a fantastic event.  We're staying in Greenwich in a handy, really comfortable hotel which we've stayed in before but the internet is rather shocking, ostensibly I am sure so that you will pay to upgrade to their 'ultimate' broadband package.    

We arrived mid afternoon yesterday after a straightforward journey on the train.  After a quick cuppa we headed up to the Royal Observatory to try to get some night shots before the light from the sky was lost completely.  The extra is taken showing the meridian laser which shines from the observatory marking the Greenwich meridian.
