Challenge
I'm starting a new knitting project: the Leftie scarf, a complicated but surprisingly easy pattern involving short rows. The finished product is a curved shawl with leaf shapes entwined. Just about everyone in my knitting group has worked their way through this at least once, so I figured I'd better put my two cents in as well. It's always so hard for me to decide on the yarn! color, weight, texture, oh yeah, and cost. I recently splurged on a new set of metal interchangeable needles with great sharp points and I'm enjoying them so far, much better than my previous plastic set that always seemed too fat to be very efficient. I've got to knit a little bit every day if I plan to wear it this winter.
