presence of pigs

There were fewer steam trains operating today but more pigs, ducks in ponds, tractors, other pigs and quill-pens. An added bonus was that only one of my seat-stay rack bolts was removed from my bike whilst it was parked out the front.

The journey to seemed remarkably shorter when I knew where I was going, though I still missed a couple of the more discreet turnings. No-one ran into me on the swervey-turn bit and whilst I was there the people I saw unloading a van had painted some give-way lines where the path crossed a road in such a way as to afford priority to the path.
