Port Sunlight

My friends Mums funeral this morning. She was a grand lady.Nice to be there for Peter. The funeral was the first non religious one I have attended and relied more on poetry than prayer.Poetry as always can say more in a few lines than a lot of us could in a lifetime.
We stopped briefly in Port Sunlight on our way home.Port Sunlight is a beautiful village purpose built by William Hesketh Lever for the workforce who worked in his soap factory. If you ever find yourself on the Wirral it is well worth a visit.
Seriously behind with planning for next year.Helen and I spent the afternoon on it because we have one of the reps in tomorrow.I don't want to miss the early week deliveries.

Dry and reasonably bright most of the day.Still mild.
