Peace at sunset
I'm losing track of the days as grief unfolds, days and nights seem to merge into one as we drift through morning to night - today is Sunday.
A quieter day today, some discussions regarding the funeral of my mother-in-law. The sun shone brightly and all was calm, although it was not quite as warm as yesterday's hot 25C.
As the sun was setting I took a wander down the street. Clouds hovering over the Tararua Range looking a little angry against the brightly lit sky of the setting sun took me by surprise. The silhouettes are the poles of the bowling club holding up the speaker system, while the steeple of the church seems to be the anchor of peace.
Warm thanks to you all for your continued support during this time of grief, we as a family are deeply touched.
