Ascona

Scenic drive via San Bernardino to Ascona in Ticino, the Italian part of Switzerland. Golden late afternoon sun and some mist on the water (see extra).

Still mild down here in the South with 18C, having lunch al lago (spaghetti fatta in casa con vongole, Brivio) exploring the old town, a bit of sport and a relaxing massage afterwards. Late dinner at Osteria Nostrano savouring autumn specialities and Tre Terre.

Best time of the year. Very few tourists.
