One Little Flower

"Mother Comfort" had given me a planter with a flowering grass plant in it. I still haven't planted it in the ground, but it is persistent and keeps hanging in there. This year there is one little flower on it. I feel sad that she's not here to see the flowers, but I feel a connection with her, because she also gave a plant to my sister & brother-in-law (Happy Birthday, by the way) and Mother C. has one in her yard. They are all blooming. They make me smile. :)
