Newhaven Harbour Barometer.

This is another example of us neglecting our past.
This barometer was erected in 1775 & re-erected in 1900 according to the inscription at the top. Neglected by the 20th /21st century . It stands outside what once was the building that was The Society of Free Fishermen's office in Newhaven .
I wonder how in this day and age no local business has had this piece of history restored to it former glory ?
