Winter woolies

The golden autumn has been blown away, and the chill winds of autumn proper bring a shiver to the daily walk. This is on the side of Coaley Peak, on the escarpment that overlooks Wales (behind me in this picture). The long horned cattle are growing their winter coats, and doing better than us at keeping their feet on the muddy hillside...
