Raging River

The River Wharfe is one of the fastest rising rivers in the country. So it was no surprise to see it raging in the bright , winter sunshine this morning.
Raining again now and lots more is forecast.
Our village is no longer cut off anymore from Otley or Ilkley where the river had burst it's banks and spilled onto the fields and by pass. Some bridges are still unpassable, some under water.
