Hooray for the flood defences!

Here is the confluence of the Cocker and the Derwent plus a lot of extra ground which is now looking like water! The extra is the view in the other direction and our cottage is the one in the middle.
However the strange yellow line to its right is the flood defence wall and flood gate and they are working just fine....hang on a moment while I find some wood to touch! The sun is shining and the water looks lovely!
