Estuary

Data collection at the estuary was much better today - I even had to take off layers I was so warm! I was very close to not going out as I knew it would be much less pleasant than my bed but thankfully I made it. The rain had caused some serious flooding though - a lot of the golf course was underwater, as well as the road up to it. At one point I went through a puddle on my bike and my feet got entirely submerged! Thankfully cars were great and stopped before puddles to let me go slowly through instead of going beside me and soaking me :)

On my way back I kept looking at the beach (as the cycle is along west sands) and feeling very happy about going to such a wonderful university. I really will miss it when I graduate!
