Not a day for going out walking. The rain hasn’t stopped and according to the road reports we’re cut off to the north and west by flooding and to the south the road is just passable in two places this side of Windermere. . 

I ventured out twice, first to feed the birds and later to take a photo ………. just outside the front door.
