Roger that

What a gloomy old day. Mostly at home today, nursing Mr DawnAgain who is in the throes of a bout of gout. Son2 accompanied the dogs and I on our walk over the common this morning where we saw a Red Admiral butterfly. This would have been a picture of it had I remembered to put a memory card in my camera. Instead, this is Roger who wasted no time sniffing out the replenished bird food on the feeding station. Also on the feeders today was a pair of wagtails; I hope they come back.

In other news, Basil's skin seems much improved today...fingers crossed we may have turned a corner.
