Cairo Camels and Art

A few months ago I went to a fantastic art exhibition of Egyptian artists with friend and blipper Cairoundercover and these two pieces are taken from the brochure I picked up there. All the others are up around our bedroom here too, adding a bit of life and colour. Bb and I would have loved to have bought an original piece, but the time wasn't right....maybe one day!

The camel hanging you see was one of the little treasures we bought at the All Saints Christmas Fair at the weekend. The other purchase will no doubt be blipped too at some stage.

That's Bb gone again, back to Bcn, a visit that was short and sweet, but well worth it and really appreciated by me. Back to counting the days again.

This week's the week in-between my two courses and so a non-working week, apart from doing the end of course admin for the October course and prepping for the November course. I don't have to be in school every day though, which is lovely. My objective this week is to eat well, sleep well, read a book for pleasure, enjoy some wandering in Zamelek and help Bb with some admin related to some very exciting news!
