Wild River Kent

After flood warnings and evacuation of residents from the side of the river last night, the Kent stayed contained within it's banks, just about!
The river is running from right to left in this shot but you can hardly tell as the water thunders over a wier, there will be no salmon jumping today!
Just for interest, if you look at the white camper van, the window directly above it on the corner was my office until 2000 as this was Provincial Insurance's (now AXA Insurance) head office. What a shame someone decided it would be a good idea to relocate the head office!
