Golden Hour Geese

Up early to buy some fresh brown baguettes as we have visitors for lunch.
I met an couple walking their dog who'd been along the beach at Beaumont and said how rough it was down there as it was high tide. I drove to near La Haule and it was a bit rough but nothing like it gets at St. Ouen's. I drove home via Corbiere as I thought they're be might some spectacular waves by the light house. It was wild and I got some shots that I've put onto to Flickr as I really like these Brent Geese flying in the golden hour sky.
I'm not sure if these at Dark-bellied or Pale-bellied Brent Geese, and have only just discovered there are different species coming from different areas. As these were seen in St. Aubin's Bay I'm going with the Pale-bellied Brent Geese as this is their favoured location. Apparently they fly here via Northern Ireland from arctic Canada!!

GoranZebuhr's Mono Monday challenge will be Another Brick in The Wall. Hopefully you could find inspiration from the title or the lyrics of these Pink Floyd tunes.  Please check his Wednesday entry for links to the music and lyrics.

Remember to tag your entries mm94 - otherwise they might pass unnoticed.
