Columbia River,

at The Dalles. The day was supposed to have been a wet one, so we escaped to the east of the mountains. The rain is maybe coming a bit later, it was quite dry all the way home. The Dalles has about a 10 mile bike trail along the river, including a tiny bike fixing station (see extra). The trail passes tribal salmon fishing platforms used long before the dams were built on the river and still in use today (the other extra).
