Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2015 Saturday -- Inside, Behind the Closed Doors

When I came down the stairs this morning to open the window coverings on our front windows, I looked back and enjoyed the view from the front room; this is just inside the entry way doors -- the entry that leads to our lives. So . . .

So I walked back up the stairs to our master bedroom to get my phone, which is my camera. I wanted to capture the moment. This was my only photo today. I think it is good enough to grace the wall of my day here on Blip.

It's been quite awhile since we've upgraded anything in this house, so I guess the house looks dated. But I like the way it looks. I am very comfortable in this home. The mural was painted a long time ago and the design for it came from a greeting card.

It's birthday weekend here at "Funville." My birthday is Tuesday and because my birthday this year is on the fullest and widest day of my week, my daughter wants me to celebrate this weekend.

I have too many student papers to grade to toss responsibility in the air and just go play, but I did go out for a salad and beverage with her this afternoon so we could spend a little time together and that was good.

But I did not think to take a photo of the two of us, so inside the entry doors will be my offering for this day.

Good night from southern California,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
