and this must make you - very sad - these recent events in paris - have left me heartbroken - so i can only imagine - how you are feeling - i would ask you to put a covering of grace - over the city today - that they would know all of mankind - is standing strong with them - as a united front against those who would - do them harm - that they would experience your peace, protection, mercy

it's a simple prayer, god - yet it is time for the world - to stand together as one - setting aside petty things - recognizing we are made of the same fabric - we need to gather as one people - comfort each other now - reach out in our own humanity to rebuild - it is possible - there is hope despite the violence and ugliness - we can look beyond all of it - to create a new beginning - and with your help, guidance, grace - we can make it...
