Important stuff

My eldest brother and his wife and eldest daughter are here for the weekend. It's all very easy and comforting and rather lovely.

Well apart from this thing being introduced to her first ever fire and being too stupid to realise you don't stick your head in it. We love her so much but honestly, bloody daft retrievers. You'd hardly think they were bred to be any use to anyone.

The dear folks of Paris are in our hearts tonight as we have a painful reminder to focus on what is really important.
