C3 Christmas Market Day!

After not very many hours sleep, I woke before my alarm (later I discovered it was actually a lot before, as I'd set it for Sunday morning!!!) I got up and sorted my stuff while Mollie showered and washed her many miles of hair. It was lovely to spend time with Karen & Neil but not long enough. I hope to see them again soon.

We drove over to C3 on Coldhams Lane and after a few goes at rearranging our jewellery, we were happy. We were a bit tucked into the corner so perhaps not the best position, and it was quite chilly, but tea was £1 a cup and Mollie was great at running my errands!

The sales were slow to start, but I eventually sold a pair of earrings and relaxed. The afternoon picked up with a steady flow of friends as well as customers. It was lovely to see Andy, Pam and two of their grandchildren. Alan, Lizzie and Charlotte dropped by on their way home from a bit of shopping in a busy Cambridge. Then Steve came to say hello. I sold a few more bits but only one mini allsorts pendant! So many left to find homes for. Claire and Alasdair were the last of my Cambridge friends to visit - specially to see me (I think!) and I do feel fortunate. I escaped my post, leaving Mollie in charge to have a bit of a catch up with Tracey. She gave me a tour of the new building, where she now worships. It is amazing and is bringing a lot of happiness to a lot of people.

We eventually packed up to leave around 7.30 when many of the stalls had already packed up, then the long drive home. It wasn't a bad drive, we played Christmas music, and got home at 10pm. In all we have had a good day, worthwhile on many levels. Thanks Tracey for inviting me.

At home, sad to be catching up on the barbaric acts carried out in Paris. Life is precious, we must value and be grateful for every day; our thoughts are with those in Paris who have suffered this weekend.
