Orbit

This is part of my #onestreet project.  Although I find Greenhill Street a very interesting variety of businesses and buildings there are one or two modern buildings dating from the 1980s. I have already published, Chicago Rock Cafe , next door, number 10, is Orbit Housing.

Not an easy building to give any photographic interest to so I decided on a surprisingly traffic free 'wet Greenhill Street' with Orbit on the side, given a little artistic licence.

Orbit is a housing developer, advertising themselves as building communities, and their portfolio include houses for sale,  rent and social housing.  There is a large area of development land by the railway station where the old cattle market used to be; it has been empty for quite a few years and recently taken over by Orbit and fenced off, hopefully to start some construction in the non too distant future.
