See The Lights

evening all,

for some, it is the lighting of the midwinter fires, for others, the settings of the autumnal clocks.

Still more look to the change in the temperature and the shortening of the day.

But for me, it is much more simple and much more clearly  defined than any of this.

When late afternoon finds me on a motorway bridge, battling with the wind and rain, to get a light trail shot,

then for me, winter has truly begun!
