Taken in another of the Upcycling World furniture painting workshops at Tribe Porty this afternoon. Something to distract me from thoughts of Paris and the terrible events of last night. Yes, there were other terrorist atrocities in other parts of the world this week but it is very difficult not to feel it a little more keenly when it is places you are familiar with, streets you have walked down, places you have been. I have a few friends in Paris, some living in the 10th Arr. and 11th Arr. Thankfully all are safe. Especially my friend I, who only moved to Paris a fortnight ago. Others are not and I feel so sad for those whose friends and family members are now among the casualties. RIP.
