After the storm

The sky looked good this evening so popped across the road from the office to what I presume was some sand or gravel extraction site many years ago, and now a spot for fishing.

Earlier in the day a thunderstorm passed over and I cannot recall one making it as dark as this one did. It was almost like night and was the talking point in the town today. Torrential rain caused some flash flooding, but no real damage done.
