DISASTER!

yes, in capitals.... dropped my kindle last night (off the side of the bedside cabinet) and the screen has looked like this since. Wasn't too worried because when checked online there's all sorts of advice on how to re-boot it etc so was quietly confident would get it fixed when got home.

Turns out it is well and truely gubbed! Amazon have a great deal though, send them the old one and they'll replace it for forty quid... sounds great to me. So my new one should arrive on Monday. Phew... off on hols in a couple of weeks, would have been horrific without it.

Whole day in the office today, I'm sure I drove the girls mad... picking up on things that I've missed while being away... But a call from H and discussion about some real issues going on soon puts these sorts of things into perspective.

So quietly having a glass of wine, off to catch up on Silk while J watches the footie. Life is good!
