What's happening to the bees?

A bit more colour today!

Bees have been dropping like flies and it could cause worldwide food shortages as so many of our foodstuffs are pollinated by bees but recently science may have discovered the answer to colony collapse disorder:

"The deadly link between the worldwide collapse of honeybee colonies and a bloodsucking parasite has been revealed by scientists. They have discovered that the mite has massively and permanently increased the global prevalence of a fatal bee virus." Pesticide use & lack of food have also contributed to bees decline. Guardian

Im sure our friends in white coats will find a cure for our furry friends or it could spell disaster for bees & humans.
