" I WILL SURVIVE!"

This beautiful, if slightly damaged rose has been uncovered since we took over the garden here.  It had been 'buried' by all that was growing in a tangled mess and now because it has light, it has flowered for the first time. I am holding it as the wind is so strong it couldn't keep still.

It will need to be nurtured, just like us.  As we struggle to come to terms with the atrocities being carried out across the world by a hate fuelled religion, surely it is time for the rest of humanity to 'wake up'.  Evil is what it is and must be conquered!!
