Made it!

Car (Junior’s), bus (park & ride to airport), plane (easyJet to Munich, delayed 50 minutes) and train(s).

Three (3) trains. I missed the Munich to Gaimersheim train I expected to catch because of easyJet’s delay, so I had to take an Ingolstadt train and then change to an Eichstätt one.

Hats off to the DB Bahn operatives at Munich Hbf for sorting me out. Their information sheet even told me what platform(s) to go to.

Dr D almost always meets me at Munich Airport when I come here. Getting to Gaimersheim is usually comfortable and quick (180kph on the Autobahn). Trouble is easyJet’s November timetable means arriving when she’s at work.

Hence my trains, planes & automobiles day.
