Garden with View.

today my friend and I had a lovely time wandering around the magnificent gardens on the garden trail which raises money for the rescue helicopter.  It was a blue sky day.  The rhododendrons were still in bloom and the roses were stunning.  Between us we were able to come up with the names of most plants.  This is a view of Lake Rotorua with a piece of garden art in the foreground.  I hope you can see that the lake is a caldera that has filled with water and Mokoia Island and Mt Ngongotaha are lava domes.  I felt really cheerful walking in the sunshine and was shocked to come home to the news of carnage in Paris.  Peace.
