Bandits at 2 o'clock

Sand all over the car today, after a little overnight shower. Hope there's still some left in the Sahara. Still been very warm today, although clouds have scudded over a deposited just handful of those very large drops you get from clouds in the summer.

Been slaving away again over a very hot computer most of the day and when I wasn't, I quickly blipped a few of these Swifts. I've found where some of them are nesting - not seen them lay eggs obviously, but they touchdown for just a second or two to feed their young, so let's hope the nestlings can eat as fast as they will fly when they fledge.

Ooh there was a lot of unintentional alliteration in that last sentence:)
