Having an ale of a time

Due to needing to leave the house tomorrow for a haircut, typically, I really wanted to go out for the night! I'm not one for doing much in moderation, so I settled for an evening of housework and washing. I celebrated the completion of both with a bottle of ale from my favourite haunt, brewed on their premises.
Only noticed the relevance of its name on such a date after taking the pic!
