La premiere neige!

Much colder today!

First snow on the high fells! ( Blencathra in this blip )

The river levels have stablised, but the forecast for the next two days is for ex hurricane Kate to send lots and lots of rain onto already saturated ground...

We did a quick dash to Penrith this afternoon to pick up a Floodgate for our back door. ( better safe than sorry! )

In the 'extra' photo, taken this morning,  you can see Chloe having a run around by the river...plenty of Autumn colour still!
