It's That Rose Again...

Another glorious day off work. Started early by popping round to borrow a wood plane off a friend. The loft hatch now fits and has been painted to the first coat of 0% VOC wood-gloss - I use to work for the firm so I always buy theirs it's a lot better than the rubbish made by the big firms.

Just before lunch we went for a bike ride, not that far but 29 km isn't too bad. It was very warm and humid but not bad on the down hill sections where you get good natural air conditioning at 50 km/h...

I fixed another desktop niggle, so I'm feeling very positive in the IT department too. In the late afternoon I took the plane back and went to another friend to collect rhubarb for jamming. I took the camera in case there was anything interesting to capture, it was very nice but quite windy, so no good for close-ups of anything unless you like a blur.

Today's blip is yet another blip of our yellow rose but in the extreme close-up style.

Alas tomorrow is my last day off work - so after the weekend it will be back to the grind stone...
