Damp start - wet end

It's been a bit of a wet week.  Got soaked at least 3 times on our delayed summer break.  MrsDB checked her ma twice a day by phone and her carers and neighbours remarked that she was remarkably well.  So much so that when we rang today she didn't even want to speak to us.  No doubt by Sunday the old bird (a lovely soul BTW) will be berating MrsDB for never phoning.  Ah well.

Came home via the Lake District and noticed that Ullswater had waves on it today and they were breaking over the retaining wall.  Now if it was tidal that would be quite normal.  But it isn't!
